Overlooking the Hsinchu Science Park, you can see a large and a small “doughnut” in the southwest corner of the park. The big circle is the “Taiwan Photon Source” project, which will be the world’s brightest synchrotron radiation source. After the completion of the Taiwan Photon Source, it can promote the development of more cross-disciplinary and world-competitive scientific research, including biomedicine, green energy and other industries, and promote my country’s academic research level to become the world’s top.
